Community Press accepts submissions throughout the year. Our goal is to publish at
least 5 - 10 titles per year, budget permitting. Please print and review our Submission Guidelines for full details.

Community Press will only contact an author if we are interested in his or her manuscript. Allow
6 - 8 weeks for contact. We do not return submissions so please do not send originals. Send copies only.
Authors published by Community Press receive royalty payments. Our
standard royalty payment is 10% of list price for general book sales. Given
that most publishers pay royalties on net, we believe we have the best royalty structure in the business. Payments and percentages
vary with differing formats (screen, electronic, cheap editions, etc.) and will be clearly outlined in the publishing contract.
Community Press will design, print, list, register, distribute and promote all books that we publish.
Community Press is very selective and only interested in seeing an author's BEST
work, not something in need of a lot of work! We're simply not in the business of developing author
manuscripts. We expect authors to send fully edited manuscripts...or be willing to obtain a professional edit as a condition
of a full publishing contract offer.
